The Problem
For this particular restaurant, they already had established a online food ordering system and a reservation system. They were doing social media promotions as well but did not have a website which connect the ordering and the reservation processes.
The Goal
The goal of this project was to design and develop a website that will showcase the menu and the location and will lead to the users to the existing ordering and reservation system.

Understand Phase
User Research: Summary
The user research found that the entire user base can be divided into two main categories, returning customers and the new customers. Since the restaurant did not have a website, the returning customers had to go to the restaurant social media account to find the online ordering link and they wanted an easy way to get access to the online ordering and reservation platforms. The returning customers also requested to have a better view of the menu and also the location.
For the new customers, the current system (the social media account) did not have enough visual items for food and the locations and they also found it hard to find the online ordering and reservation links in the social media posts.

Had to scroll through social media to find the restaurant
Hard to find the links to the ordering and reservation platform
The menu did not have images of all the food items and it was hard to decide on what to order because of that
When making a reservation, it was hard to find the images of the location in the social media pages and there were not enough images
